Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Purpose
Axes of Fate includes community features where signed-in users can submit content — currently the T-Shirt Ideas board. These guidelines explain what's welcome, what's not, and how we keep the space friendly and safe. They apply to any content you submit through the app.
What's Not Allowed
Do not submit content that contains or promotes:
- Hate speech, slurs, or targeted harassment — including attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status
- Threats or incitement to violence — toward any person or group
- Sexual content or nudity — including sexually suggestive material
- Illegal content — including but not limited to drug sales, weapons trafficking, child exploitation, or other content prohibited by law
- Spam, advertising, or off-topic content — including promotion of unrelated products, services, or websites
- Copyright or trademark infringement — content that uses someone else's intellectual property (logos, brand names, slogans, artwork) without permission
- Personally identifiable information (PII) — phone numbers, street addresses, email addresses, government ID numbers, or other private information about yourself or others
- Misleading or deceptive content — including impersonation, phishing, or fraudulent claims
How We Moderate
We use a layered approach to keep community content safe:
- Automated filters at submission — a wordlist filter screens obvious violations on submit. Heavier checks (LLM-based review) may be added over time.
- Community reports — content reported by 3 or more distinct users is auto-hidden pending review.
- Manual review — escalated and appealed items are reviewed by Left Coast Specialists maintainers.
- Takedown timeline — confirmed violations are removed within 7 days of confirmation.
Reporting Content
Every t-shirt idea card in the app has a Report button. When you report content you can pick a reason from a list (for example: hate speech, spam, sexual content, copyright, other) and optionally add a free-text comment. Reports are private — the submitter is not told who reported them.
Appeals
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, email axesoffate@leftcoastspecialists.com with the subject line "Community appeal" and include enough detail to locate the content (date submitted, approximate text, your account email). We respond within 14 days.
Account Consequences
For most violations we remove the content and notify the submitter. For repeat or severe behavior we may take additional action:
- Repeat violators — submission may be temporarily or permanently restricted, and in serious cases sign-in may be revoked.
- Severe violations — content involving illegal activity (for example, child exploitation, credible threats, or content otherwise required to be reported) will be reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law, and account data may be preserved or disclosed in response to valid legal process.
Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes that affect what content is allowed or how moderation works, we'll show an in-app banner the next time you open the community section so you have a chance to read the new version.
