Account Deletion

You can delete your Axes of Fate account at any time from inside the app. This page explains the steps, what data is removed, and what is retained.

How to delete your account

Account deletion is performed from inside the Axes of Fate mobile app. The in-app flow requires you to be signed in on a verified device and confirms the request before any data is removed.

1. Open the Axes of Fate app on your phone or tablet
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in
3. Tap Settings from the main menu
4. Scroll to the Account section
5. Tap Delete Account
6. Review the deletion summary, then tap Confirm to proceed

The app will sign you out as soon as the deletion completes. The whole process usually takes a few seconds. After deletion, attempting to sign in again with the same email creates a brand new account with no prior history.

What is deleted

When you confirm account deletion, the following are removed immediately:

• Your sign-in credentials — the underlying authentication record is deleted so the email or social login can no longer be used to access your account
• Your profile — display name, avatar, and any personal preferences
• Your game history — every game you have played and saved, including throw-by-throw records, scores, streaks, and personal records
• Your settings — target color themes, custom palettes, board style, sound preferences, and other in-app settings
• Your votes on community t-shirt ideas — and the vote counts on those ideas are decremented accordingly

What is retained, and why

A small amount of data is kept after account deletion, in each case for a specific reason:

• T-shirt ideas you submitted — these are kept as anonymous community content (your name is detached). T-shirt ideas are part of the shared community board with other users' votes attached to them, so removing them would remove other users' contributions as well.
• Feedback you sent us — kept in anonymized form (your name and account link are detached) so we can continue to learn from support history. We retain only what is necessary to keep that history coherent.
• An anonymized audit record — the fact that a deletion happened, the timestamp, and an opaque internal ID are retained as part of our security audit log for up to 90 days. This record does not contain your name, email, profile data, or game history.
• Server backups — routine encrypted backups taken before the deletion are kept on rolling retention. Active backups are purged within 30 days, after which your data no longer exists in any backup snapshot.

If you submitted t-shirt ideas or feedback that you also want removed entirely (not just anonymized), include that request as part of the in-app deletion flow before confirming, or contact us directly (see below).

If you cannot access the app

The in-app deletion flow is the only self-service path because it verifies your identity through your signed-in session and your device. If you have lost access to your account or device and cannot complete the in-app steps, contact axesoffate@leftcoastspecialists.com with the subject line "Account deletion request" and include:

• The email address associated with the account
• Approximate date you created the account
• Any details that help us verify the account belongs to you

We respond to account deletion requests sent this way within 14 days.

About re-creating an account

After deletion, the same email may be used to create a brand new Axes of Fate account at any time. The new account starts with no history, no settings, and no community submissions linked to it.
